    WordPress Version 4.1.1
    Customizr 3.2.10
    My website isn’t live yet so I can’t provide a link, but my question is pretty simple…

    The < strong > tag is not working on my site at all. The text just stays normal weight.

    I am new to the Customizr theme. Is it only possible to have bold text if I upgrade to Customizr Pro? That seems a little crazy, so I assume I am just missing something very simple… Anybody know what might be wrong?

  • Hi,
    where doesn’t work? In post contents or in post lists?

    As far as I know, it doesn’t work anywhere, site-wide. I have been trying to use it in my pages though.

    Weird,
    works fine here, of course not in post excerpt, but because wordpress strips tags in excerpt.
    No problems for the rest.. maybe you can try the latest version.

    Do you space the tag < strong > that you posted or do you use

    <strong>

    I assuming you spaced it to show on here but want to make sure.

    Yeah that was definitely not the problem — I just did the spaces so that it would show up in the title of the post.

    Actually, I figured it out. I thought it was maybe a problem with the CSS, but then it turned out to be a problem with the font. Once I changed my default font from Josefin to pretty much anything else, immediately the bold face showed up in all my posts. That is really bizarre though considering that it was one of the like ten default font options that came with the Customizr theme — why would they include a font with no bold option? Or is it some kind of bug? Anyway, I guess I’ll mark this topic as closed even though I’m still a little mystified about that really being the problem.
