    Hello,

    I checked my conversion tracking in my google ads account and it says the tag has been inactive since 14 July. I checked the conversion ID and label and they are both correct.

    How can I fix this?

    When you go into the conversion and hover over the tracking status, what do you see?

    If you see that the ‘last seen’ date is a current date, then simply no conversion coming from an ad has happened.

    If that date is old then it could be one of the following:

    1. You have not received any purchases on the shop since then
    2. The conversion ID and conversion label are wrong
    3. Visitors are not being properly redirected to the purchase confirmation page. This usually happens when the payment gateway is not configured correctly.

    Let me know what you find out.

    Hey Aleks,

    Thanks for your fast reply. When I hover over the tag it says: ‘conversion tag inactive’ and ‘last seen 14 July’

    I’ve been running ads for a couple of weeks now and they are slowly starting to show. I don’t think I got any conversions from them so far. So it seems the tag is inactive because no sales have happened.

    I’ll see how it goes over the next few weeks.

    Even without direct conversions from ads it should show a current ‘last seen’ date, as long as you have daily purchases coming in from other channels. If that is the case it must be 2) or 3)
