Support » Plugin: Ultimate WooCommerce Filters » Tag filter misbehaving

  • Hi,
On the target page, I have a working category filter but the tag filter isn’t behaving. When you mouse-over, the pointer does not change. Users complain that they did not know it was a link.

I have “Hide empty” and “Show product count” enabled but neither of these are happening.

On inspecting the Browser console, I see the following error:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “”.

    Please could you help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi carry,

I’m a little confused as to exactly what you’re talking about. The error you referenced is from our Ultimate Product Catalog plugin, but you posted this in the Ultimate WooCommerce Filters forum. Which plugin are you having trouble with? If it’s the catalog plugin, then I can tell you that error has no bearing on the functionality of the plugin. It looks like it’s maybe related to the custom stylesheet or JS upload feature. However, that feature is actually part of the premium version of that plugin, so, if that’s what you’re having trouble with, you’ll need to contact us via email or our website, as discussion of the premium version is not allowed here in these forums.

If you’re just looking for the cursor to change when you hover over something in the tags list on the page you sent us, then you can try some custom CSS. For example:

        cursor: pointer;

    Sorry to cause confusion, Jay.
I have deactivated Ultimate Product Catalog to remove that error as the plugin is no longer in use. Instead we have switched to Ultimate WooCommerce Filters.

Thanks you for the css which fixes the “on hover” fault.

Is there any way to fix the “Hide empty” and “Show product count”?

    Kind regards,

Looks like, for some reason, those two options are not being applied for the tags, only for the categories. We’ll have to do some testing and, when we have a fix, we’ll release an update.

Very many thanks. Any thoughts on how long you will need so I can keep clients informed?

    Good luck with the fix.

I can’t provide an ETA at the moment, but, as soon as we have it corrected and tested, we’ll release the update. In the meantime, if you’re looking for it to be consistent among all filters, you can disable the count for the other filters. I understand it isn’t ideal, but just a thought.

    Thanks Jay.
