tag error message

  • i wanted to install this theme, but there is an error message on the Tags sidebar tab that reads:

    Warning: max() [function.max]: Array must contain at least one element in /home/webpage/public_html/wp-content/themes/jessica-fletcher-redux/functions.php on line 188

    while trying to research it i kept stumbling across other people’s blogs that read the same thing! how do i fix it?

    when you install a theme, no tags are assigned, therefore possibly the error message.

    what happens if you work with the theme and add some content including at least two tags to your posts?
    that should solve the problem with the error message – ok.

    to get it working without post tags –
    otherwise, edit functions.php of the theme and have a look at line 188 – :

    $maxtopic = max($topic_numbers);

    change it to:

    $maxtopic = ($topic_numbers) ? max($topic_numbers) : 1;

    oh. when i hover a tag in the sidebox-widget, i see a code :((
    style, font size, closing brackets <>
    how can i solve it?
