The page linked in this post is an example of the type of usage of the tabs block, but since it is a live page, no longer contains a corrupted block. I am using the tabs block on each of the faculty Profiles and when a faculty member using a Mac edits their own profile page, the tabs block becomes corrupted, sometimes showing a block of HTML below the tabs on the rendered page, and causing the block itself to be uneditable. (The block says that it encountered unexpected content, and offers the chance to repair it, which does help, until the next time someone on a Mac tries to edit it.)

I will attempt to create a corrupted block on a development site, but have seen this enough times that feel confident this is happening every time the tabs block is edited from a Mac. At least one of the Mac users confirmed that they use the Chrome browser, but suspect that several are using Chrome.

Any ideas how to fix this?
    Thanks,
    Robert

    Hi @robertvidrine,
may you share the HTML from Code editor? https://ibb.co/J7JDZbF

Important: be sure you are using version 2.9.2

Thank you for your rapid response. I have already fixed the problem on my live site, and when I went to create the tabs on my development site, I noteiced that the process of creating the tabs is much different than it used to be.

It occurs to me that even though I am using version 2.9.2, I have been copying the blocks on previous pages which already had the styling I wanted instead of creating new blocks. It seems that this was perpetuating the older style of blocks I thought that the blocks would get any new functionality just by updating the plugin, but perhaps I need to rebuild the blocks from scratch to get the new functionality?

If you were copy-pasting instance of blocks created with older versions, it may explain the issue.

Creating Tabs from scratch and copy-pasting these instances shouldn’t cause problems.
