I have 4 tabs and each tab is showing different products based on categories or some other feature.

It adds up to over 30 images – either the product image or the category image.

I there a way I can tell it to NOT show the images at all via a setting in this plugin?

Each image is a call to the server and each takes 55 millisecond or 1.7 seconds of time total. Looking for ways to reduce that.

    Thoughts?

I suggest you try a lazy load plugin. so your images only load when needed.

P.S. this wouldn’t have anything to do with the tab settings, tabs wouldn’t control that kind of thing.

I figured but wanted to see if anyone else is doing this or has an idea.

Got lazy load with wp rocket.

They all get loaded because they are on the page and wp rocket or the browser can’t tell the images on hidden tabs aren’t needed yet.

Can you post a link? If lazy load is working they shouldn’t load right way regardless.

I went an alternate route due to these issues.

Try making a page yourself I guess. Otherwise I’m not bothering with the tabs anymore.

    Hi @twgerber,
Sorry for the delay! Have you cleared your cache after turning on lazy load? If you decide to use the tabs in the future let us know! We would be happy to help get them working properly for you.
