Tables/HTML

Hey everyone, thanks in advance for the help. I’m fairly decent with HTML coding but am having trouble with tables on my site. In the HTML editor, no matter what I type in the <table> tag, like <table border=”7″ cellpadding=”6″> etc, nothing at all changes on my table. The same thing for increasing/decreasing TD or TR width, or changing the font size. Am I missing something?
