Tables don’t load if jQuery is disabled!

As the title itself says, Ninja Table tables won’t load if I don’t load jquery script on a page. Nothing else on my site requires jQuery except the tables. Is there a way to load the table without jquery?

Ninja Table runs a script on the frontend and without the script, the table won’t load.
I understand this. But why require jQuery for that?
Also, if Ninja Tables loads tables with jQuery — this means Ninja Tables is not at all SEO friendly: https://www.hobo-web.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/search-engines-that-render-javascript-properly.png
