# tablepress setting menu desapeared

 * hi,
    I have a wp (4.6.1) website with divi (2.7.8) and plugins askimet (3.2),
   BackUpWordPress (3.6.2), Event Calendar WD (1.0.72), GA Google Analytics (20160831)
   + tablepress 1.7
 * I installed tablepress, created tables and everything was ok ;
    I want to modify
   a table, the link to tablepress in the left menu has disappeared Existing tables
   are ok, but impossible to modify or add..
 * I’ve tried to desactivate this plugin (nothing better), uninstall this plugin(
   nothing better), desactivate all plugins (nothing better), change theme to twentyfivteen(
   nothing better).
 * When I uninstall tablepress, tables are no more visible ([table id=1 /]) and 
   directory wp-content/plugins/tablepress does not exist any more ; but when I 
   install it again, my tables are directly coming back in my website.

 * This is a problem with the access capabilities, so that we’ll have to restore
   them manually.
    For that, please surf to [http://example.com/wp-admin/options.php](http://example.com/wp-admin/options.php)(
   with your domain, of course), and scroll down to the “tablepress_options” option.
   In that textfield, you should see a number 32 (I think) as the “plugin_options_db_version”.
   Change that number to 0 (be very careful to not break the surrounding quotation
   marks etc.), and click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page. That should
   reset the capabilities, so that the admin menu entry should appear again.
