TablePress Preserve Position on Return to Table
-
Hi, Tobias,
First, thank you again for the wonderful tool! Really works well.
One of our tables has 1,260 row entries, each referencing a different recording. Users who page through to find interesting recordings then click to listen to the recording.
We have had requests from users who would like to use the browser back arrow after listening to a recording and be returned to the same “page” in the table from which they selected the recording. This would avoid their having to page through the table or click through the page numbers to find their last location.
Is there a method by which the Table will keep a marker in the user’s browswer on a computer and smartphone and tablet so that the user can revert to their most recent table page location when they click the back arrow?
I doubt that you need to see a table to be able to evaluate this, but if so, let me know or use the links from a prior post.
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
