TablePress auto_import tables after new JSON file replace

    Hi,

    I wonder if it possible to add new value to TablePress-auto-import-table plugin in field Perform Auto Update. When JSON file stored on server is replace wit new one then plugin update specific table automatically.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m not sure that I understand, to be honest. Do you want the Extension to detect file changes instead of trying the import periodically?

    Hi,

    thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately, this will not be possible, as PHP can not be used to monitor the file system like that. PHP scripts are only called when requested by a user (or via the cron mechanism).
    So, I’m afraid that this will not be possible with the Auto Import Extension (otherwise this would be the default way of operation already 🙂 ).
