    HI

I’m using TablePress with WPML and I want to put a link in a table cell that points to another page (“…/about-page”). When the table is displayed on an English page, I want the link to be unchanged. When the table is displayed on a Chinese page, I want the link to be “…/about-page-zh-hans”.

I hope that there is an easier way than duplicating all the tables and changing just the link.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

The best solution would indeed be duplication here: Either duplicate the full table as you already mentioned or duplicate the corresponding row (or column, whatever makes more sense in you table), and then hide the row/column for the “wrong” language using a Shortcode parameter, like
    [table id=123 hide_rows="5" /]
    or
    [table id=123 hide_columns="3" /]

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks Tobias

    I’ll use the second suggestion.
