    Hi,

For some strange reason, I get the following error when trying to access the Tablepress Admin tab on my WordPress site.

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

All other plugins work after upgrade except for this one. Funny thing is that the table shows up on the page like it is supposed to, I just can’t into the admin section without the above error.

I tried going into options.php and setting the plugin_options_db_version”:24,” to plugin_options_db_version”:0,”

    but it did not help.

Any other suggestions that I should try?

Thanks for your help in advance. We are on a tight schedule to get this working.

    Thanks!
    Keith

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

WordPress 3.9.2 did not contain changes that affect TablePress, so I doubt that the update is related.
Also, if the manual resetting of plugin_options_db_version value did not help, I can only assume that your user role does not possess all of the necessary access capabilities. Are you maybe using custom user roles, besides the WordPress defaults “Administrator”, “Editor”, “Author”, and “Subscriber”? Are you maybe using a plugin like “Advanced Access Manager” or “User Role Editor”?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

I updated the tables last week before the upgrade. Now I can’t for some reason. There has been no other edits since, or upgrades to the site.

I have the default user roles including “contributor”

I added the Members plugin as well, like you had mentioned in other posts and all of the tablepress permissions are checked.

I am using not other user editor.

    THanks!

    Hi,

    ok, that’s strange then.

If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

I sent you the credentials. Let me know if you will need ftp access.
The tablepress name in the admin tabs is: “Career Jobs”.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

just for everybody following this thread: I’ve been working on this directly with Keith and we found that the “WP Database Backup” is causing this. It seems to have a bug that resets the “page” variable of the $_GET array.

Thanks so much Tobias! Quick and efficient service and very kind to do it on such quick notice. I wouldn’t have guessed it was a plugin conflict.

I also send you some coffee money for helping out!

    Thanks again.
