Support » Plugin: Table Sorter » Table Sorter and Theme’s main jQuery script

  • Hello,

    I downloaded Table Sorter to organize a bunch of anchors I have in a post for easy access.

    The default behavior when a link within a page is clicked is to animate the transition, but somwhow when I enable the sorting it gets overwritten, therefore no smooth animation and the page just cuts to where it should go.

    Here is the text that triggers the problem:

    class="tablesorter {sortlist: [[1,0],[0,0]]}"

    Without it, the table cells doesn’t change the animation whenever clicked.

    For the sake of giving a working example, I made this test page. You should be able to see the difference if a link within the table is clicked in oposition to what happens if you click “click me to go back to the table”.

    Furthermore, the theme’s developer said the animation is done by its main jQuery script. Hope this information helps. I’m using Perth.

    Anyhow, I’m looking for a patch to insert the inheritance of HTML’s a tag into your plugin or which file I should modify in order for this annoyance to be resolved…

    Regards, DAVI
