    1. Is there any way to define which table prefixes that duplicator should include in the package? Otherwise it will pack all tables in the database which are usually used for multipla WP sites with different table prefixes.

    2. Also is it possible not to overwrite all existing tables in the new database?

    3. Then I would also request if the database prefix can be changed because then I could duplicate a site with its table and import the tables to the same database (with another prefix)

  • Hi Josub,

    1. Currently the plugin dumps the entire database. Future versions this could be an option.

    2. As of version 0.4.1 on the second page of the install screen you can select which tables the replace logic is performed on. Look for the ‘Scan table’ section

    3. The prefix option might be something we could also work on in future versions.

I am looking for other solid PHP developers who might be interested in working on these as they can consume a large amounts of time. If you have any leads or know of anyone, let me know and I’ll see if they are a good fit for the project…

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the answers.

    Just to clearify 2.
I meant that all tables currently in the database where the package-tables are imported gets deleted even though they aren’t a duplicate (e.g. have a different prefix). That is a bit strange?

(Still top rating from me, great great plugin!)

Got it! Thanks for the feedback!
