Hi,
Depending on table size, server specification and performance, optimizing a table can take a while. Unfortunately, there’s no way to control that, because all that’s going on is that WP-O says “Hey, MySQL, please optimize the table” – and then from there, it’s all in MySQL’s hands (and hence, there’s been no change in that since the first beginnings of WP-O). The best thing is to schedule your optimizations for a time when the server is known to be quiet (or increase capacity, or put sites using it into maintenance mode first).

Hi @davidanderson
thanks for your replay.
Our DB is little bit heavy, i know that but our dedicated server is just fine to handle this operation 128gb Ram / 32 Core cpu / ssd 480gb and etc…
Doing manual this task over phpmyadmin, finish in 5 to 7 min.
Even more we setup this plugin to do this optimisation in low traffic time 4 AM, but it stuck every time 🙂
but never mind, let we focus on this part which you missed 🙂
We don’t want this optimization to be done with your plugin and i unchecked that option but it is done every time 🙂
i think that problem started since last update…
We just went to delete post revisions, expired tras. and trashed comments..
Thanks

maybe my english is not fluent, but i think everyone can understand what problem is?
optimization of DB unchecked but optimization is always done on scheduled time when only trashed comments and expired tansitions are selected to bee optimized.

Hi,
Apologies for the delay, it appears that the thread was buried by the forums.
We have just released an update with several fixes. Please could you update and re-save your settings? Does the issue persist?
