Support » Plugin: Drivr Lite - Google Drive Plugin » Table of contents links don’t work in embedded Google Docs

Google Docs will automatically generate a Table of Contents (Insert > Table of Contents) according to the style used by the document.

However, when I embed a published Google Doc with such a Table of Contents, the ToC appears in the embed but the links aren’t clickable although they’re blue just like any other link in the document, and the other links do work.

    Is this expected?

It’s not just Table of Contents links. I have images in my documents that are linked, and when I mouseover them in the embedded document, no link is detected.

    Hi,

Could you please share the URL? We will look into it.

We seldom have any control over how the document is being displayed, though. It’s all Google. The plugin is just a bridge between your WordPress site and Google Drive.

I created a test page for you:

    Drivr test page

The blue bar across the top of each page in the embed is linked in the Google Doc, but not in the embed.

The second page has a Table of Contents with one link. That link, when clicked, should send you to the 3rd page of the embed, but it doesn’t (unlike when viewing the Doc itself).

You can confirm by checking the Google Doc itself:

    Any news about this?
