Table of contents is not creating links in headings.

    Hello Support,

    I have created a single post page and added the table of contents in the sidebar using shortcode but when clicking on the heading(link) in table of content it redirect to top instead of the heading.

    When I remove the shortcode and try to auto insert the TOC it also did not add the TOC.

    Hi there, Thank you for contacting us. Could you please confirm if you are using the TOC plugin without combining it with other plugins? Mixing plugins can lead to conflicts, which might be causing that kind of issue you mentioned.

    I am just using Table of contents plugin for the Table of contents. I am using some other plugins also but not for this context.

    Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for the delayed response.

    @ahmeduzair : Could you please verify if you are using “Grow Social Pro by Mediavine”? If so, kindly enable that option in the TOC plugin settings, Clear the cache once and try again. If the issue still persists please let us know.

    @amirhossein7 : Could you please share the website URL and confirm the current theme you’re using?

    @ahmeduzair : Usually, auto-insertion works fine. Could you please double-check your settings? Sometimes, certain settings can cause issues like this. Additionally, please manually add the below code:

    add_filter( ‘ez_toc_sidebar_has_toc_filter’, ‘__return_true’ ); in the theme’s functions.php, after that clear all the cache once and then retry. Give this a try and let us know if the issue still persists.

    I have tried the above provided filter but that didn’t work.

    Also I have tried auto insertion that didn’t worked also I have added the TOC manually by shortcode.

    Hi, thanks for sharing this. We have released a new version, 2.0.56. Kindly update the plugin and navigate to the TOC settings. Inside the Advanced options, you will find “Generate TOC link ids.” For a better understanding, please refer to this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/P7EcVIlNeUUV. Give it a try, and let us know if you still encounter the same issue.
