Table not sorting nor horizonal scrolling

    Hi Tobias,

    I have created a large table and wanted to test it before writing the rest of the page.

    The problems I have include:

    – Table does not sort on the page.
    – Table does not horizonal scroll.

    On the table options I have checked “Enable sorting of the table by the visitor.” and “Enable horizontal scrolling, to make viewing tables with many columns easier.”

    FYI – this table was originally created in Excel and imported as an Excel spreadsheet that includes the words “Experimental” – this was the option XLSX 2007-2019 if that helps.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    From what I can see, the cause for this is that your site uses some complex JavaScript caching/optimization mechanism (something with “ez”?) That’s however causing loading issues here. Can you please try again after turning that off?

    Hi Tobias, Not quite sure what this is, but is possibly Ezoic ads possibly. I think they may have changed something in their code, as I’ve now just checked other tables that did sort and scroll, but now don’t. SO I will raise a support ticket with them.

    Hi,

    yes, that sounds plausible. From what I can see, some function called “ezoicSiteSpeed” is heavily modifying how the TablePress JavaScript code is loaded, and that breaks things here.
    I recommend to try turning that feature off or ask the Ezoic team for help.

    Hi Tobias, Ezoic are saying it’s not a problem at their end now and to go back to you. They have tried switching off Ezoic to bypass their servers and it still doesn’t scroll.

    I have gone back to them, but do you have any other ideas?

    Hi,

    Can you please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty? The issue should not appear then. Then, re-enable plugins again one by one, until the issue happns again. That way, we can find what’s causing this.

    Hi Tobia, Thank you for your help – it was the theme in the end – I switched to twenty Twenty and the tables sort – so now changed to another theme altogether from one of my other blogs.

    Really appreciate your help and amazing support!!

    Hi Tobias. A couple questions for you…
    How can I realize the form of the table in this website: http://www.sdtflbearing.com/NTN-Cylindrical-Roller-Bearings-NJ310-pd48258884.html, when browsing the web with a mobile phone, the table can slide horizontally.
    When browsing my current page on the mobile phone, only part of the content can be displayed: https://tflbearing.com/bearing-sizes
    In addition, I also want to achieve the effect that the homepage can be suspended (reference: https://www.kugellager-express.de/navi.php?k=179&ed=3), thank you!
