Hi,
So I am new to this plugin. Yesterday I created two tables for two different posts. While one works perfectly, the other is acting weird.
It is showing up in the mobile view, but not on Desktop. When I look from the admin panel everything is fine.
Another strange thing is it works fine for a while (1-2 mins) when I update the table settings. Then it just goes into the dark.

This is the code from the post:
“
Introduction

[tp_table id=1 /]
”

I use Pagespeed ninja, and speed booster plugin.

Thank you, Tobias.

Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s really strange. I have no idea what’s causing this, but it’s definitely not TablePress. I assume that your site maybe returns different content for mobiles and desktops…

Thanks for your reply. How can I check that my website has different content for mobile and desktop? Any plugins, in particular, that will enable this sort of character?

Another thing I noticed is (I don’t know if this is in any way related to this thing) running Google Search console URL inspection hides the table. I tried it over 4 times and it happens every time, last time I did not perform that test, so it is showing up as usual.
What kind of sorcery is this?

Hi,

I assume that the Google Search is then being presented the desktop version.
There are probably plugins that can do something like this, but I’m guessing that it’s the theme. Maybe it has sections for content for mobiles and another one for desktops?

Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Sixteen? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

Regards,
Tobias

It seems to be working as of now. I’d like to try the responsive add-on, we have no Paypal in our area, but do you accept $10 Amazon.com GC? Sorry to ask here, there is no other way to contact you.

Hi,

that’s good to hear!

Note that you can download and try the Responsive Tables Extension without paying 🙂
Of course, if it works, it would be nice to get a reward for it. And yes, Amazon GC would also work, just use the link to my wishlist on http://tablepress.org/donate/ or directly use the email address from https://tablepress.org/impressum/

Regards,
Tobias
