Support » Plugin: Events Manager » Table names should not be defined

  • The plugin defines the table names. The table names should be dynamically generated.

    Why? After an event broadcast using my plugin, a copy of the original event is created.

    If the original event is deleted, the child event on all blogs is also deleted one after the other, but EM does not delete the event data from the correct child table, only from the table which is already defined.

    1. WordPress startup on blog 2
    2. define(‘EM_EVENTS_TABLE’,$prefix.’em_events’) => wp_2_em_events
    3. Delete event 100
    4. Events Manager: data for post 100 deleted from wp_2_em_events
    5. Post 100 on blog 2 is broadcasted to blogs 3 as post 350 and 4 as post 505
    6. Switch to blog 3
    7. Delete post 350
    8. Events Manager: data for post 350 deleted from wp_2_em_events
