# Table extending into sidebar

 * Hi…trying to make a wider table but noticed on my theme the table extends into
   the side bar. See: [image](https://ibb.co/eFjCOF)
 * Any ideas how to fix this?

 * Well, you can’t make the table this wide then 🙂
    Alternatively, you could add
   Horizontal Scrolling, by using the `scroll` mode of [https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/](https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/)

 * Hi,
 * no, not really. The table just needs some space, obviously, so depending on the
   theme, it will be either cut off or extend into the sidebar, by default.
    That
   mentioned scroll mode is another option.
