# Table corrupted

 * Hi Tobias,
 * I read the issue that an earlier person had, but mine wasn’t to do with backup.
   I’ve just lost the table and the page is displaying a ‘this table is corrupted’
   sign – which makes clients panic!
 * When I log into the admin it says – ERROR] THE TABLE DATA IS CORRUPTED! DO NOT
   EDIT THIS TABLE NOW! Instead, please ask for support at [http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/tablepress](http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/tablepress)

 * Any help would be appreciated – or should i just go back and install wp table
   reloaded which I’ve always found to be great.

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this in your admin dashboard, 
   to try to find out what caused this, and to repair it.
    Could you please contact
   me via email (the address is in the main plugin file tablepress.php) with details?
 * Switching back to WP-Table Reloaded is not an option here, as TablePress has 
   replaced it.

 * Hi,
 * just for everybody following this thread:
 * After working on this directly with Kristin, we found that this might have been
   caused by the migration of the site from development to live server, that was
   done recently. Apparantly, the internal data format of the TablePress tables (
   JSON) got damaged during that process.
    We were able to restore the table data,
   and editing now works just fine.
