Support » Fixing WordPress » Table Cells and Text not actually centering

  • I inserted a table with four columns.

Each cell in row one has a text image.

Each cell in row two has a text title that is Centered.

The table alignment is centered on the page – in the editor.

But when it is seen online, the table is not centered, but sort of left aligned and the text in row two is all left aligned.

Not all themes style the editor the same as the front end.
It’s best to use something other than tables for layouts, since tables are difficult to style responsively.
Perhaps use columns instead of a table.

Thanks Joy. Now that I have done that, and then figured out how to get four columns three was the most available as an option, I have found that Columns do not do what table columns do, which is allow me to click on an image and select its width, so all four images can be sized the same way.

I am going to permanently end every post from on with I HATE GUTENBERG
