Support » Plugin: TablePress » Table can't be sorted correctly

  • Resolved StreetBacon

I’ve just started this site and have no additional plugins. I also tried fixing the problem using the default WP theme with no luck.

All I am trying to do is get the sorting to work correctly. If you click on a header title to sort, a few different things happen…

Either nothing at all shows up when you want to sort cells from “low to high/bottom to top” and all information just disappears from the table.

Or…only cells that have a 0 show, but no other data.

But when you sort from greatest to least, it seems to work okay. So I am really confused. Any ideas?

This plugin is really amazing by the way. And if I can just get it to work like your basic demo, I will be ecstatic! Thanks for your time on this.

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This is expected in your table, and everything works as it should. The “problem” are all those empty rows that you have in the table. The empty cells are treated as 0 and thus they show up before the rows that do have numbers in them.
So, you’ll either just have to fill the entire 50 rows with data, or delete all empty rows.

Ahhh,I see. I figured it was something little I was doing wrong. Sorry for wasting your time on this:) And thank you for replying so quickly and for creating such a highly valuable and amazing plugin.
