Please forgive if i am missing something. I did read through many pages of posts.

I bought the customizer thinking it would allow me to easily switch between tabs and accordions. This does not seem to be the case.

I don’t want to make changes that will break with an update of the plugin.

I was thinking that a parameter on the shortcode might be a way to implement?

I would prefer not to have a fixed pixel width determine if the tab is a tab or an accordion.

    What are your thoughts.

    Thank you very much!

The plugin is intended to default to tabs and display as an accordion when the browser width is below the value of a media query in the stylesheet which serves as the breakpoint. The customiser addon allows the style of the tabs & accordion to be configured to match the theme, also allowing a custom value to be set for the breakpoint value at which the accordion will show. I don’t think there’s a simple way to use tabs and accordions on the same page as that was not within the scope of the plugin’s features when it was designed.

I think a good solution to provide what you require would be to use Tabby Responsive Tabs for the tabs, and another plugin to create the accordion – for example Phil Buchanan’s Accordion Shortcodes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/accordion-shortcodes/
