Syntax issue for tweets with a certain term from a specific user

    I am trying to filter by a search term and a specific user. I have used the following syntax: search term AND from: screen name
    I get no results. I realize that the date range is limited for this type of string but I am a bit perplexed why I get no tweets when there are 3 showing on twitter.

    Hi,

    If the tweets are older than certain days (I remember it was one or two weeks), the Twitter Search API does not return the results.

    Please note that Twitter’s search service and, by extension, the Search API is not meant to be an exhaustive source of Tweets. Not all Tweets will be indexed or made available via the search interface.

    So check the date of the tweets you are trying to fetch. If they are older than a week or so, the plugin cannot retrieve those via the Search rule type.
