Hello, this is a non-issue but posting this in case it might help someone.

I noticed the following error on one of my websites coming from this plugin today.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&&' (T_BOOLEAN_AND), expecting ')' in /home3/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Sensors/Content.php on line 1002

Quick fix was to remove the plugin. I noticed the default version of PHP 5.4.45 was the active version (thank hostgator!), pretty out of date. Updated to PHP 5.6, reinstalled plugin and everything seems good now.

    Hello @bbeecher

We are really sorry this slipped through our testing. This was affecting only installs on PHP versions earlier than 5.5.

We just released version 2.6.9.1 with the fix. Please update your install and all should be sorted.

Sorry if this has caused any inconveniences. Should you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for using our plugin.
