    I have tried many formats and can not get the Additional Headers box to validate as long as the Reply-To: header is in the box. What I have tried;

    Reply-to: [your-name] [your-email]
    Reply-to: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Reply-to: [your-email]

    If I try it without a mail tag;
    Reply-to: formsubmitter@their.email
    it validates but I need to set it to the email of the form submitter which I can only get from the submission itself.

    Make sure you have a field with the name “your-email” and it’s a required email (email*) field.

    I have required fields and am using the field’s tags correctly. I am using Reply-To in this format and it works;
    Reply-to: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    The issue is that CF7 will not validate any form of Reply-To, it shows a Syntax error as long as there is a Reply-To header in the Additional Headers box.

    Where can I see the site?

    I’m having the exact same issue with all my websites that use Contact Form 7

    @takayuki
    We have a main site with many individual forms and several sub sites in their own directories, running their own WP install, with a form each. All the forms have this issue, here is one of the sites in a sub-directory;
    https://www.atlplastic.com/DrAllysonMaskeblog/
    Running WP 4.4.2 and CF7 4.4.1
    This site has a Social Share plugin with JavaScript issues but none of the other sites have this plugin but still have the same CF7 issue.
    I have tested with the SS plugin disabled and the Captcha turned off but there was no change.

    Ok. You don’t have any email fields there. Read http://contactform7.com/text-fields/ and set up the form correctly.

    Thank you very much Takayuki, that was the issue. I changed the email field from a text field to an email field and now the Additional Headers box validates with this format;
    Reply-to: [your-name] <[your-email]>
