# Syntax error after editing function.php file

 * Hi All,
 * I was trying to edit the function.php file on my site so that it would not show
   the date when an entry was posted. I’ve obviously mucked it up as when I try 
   and load my site now I get the following message:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/qqczpkaq/public_html/wp-
   content/themes/twentyeleven/functions.php on line 574
 * I’m not sure what I’ve done so if anyone could help it would be really appreciated–
   pastebin link shown below:

 * Re-upload a fresh copy of Twenty Eleven via [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)(
   or use whatever file management application your host provides):

 * Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having
   access to an **unedited** version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range
   of site issues. [Create a child theme for your changes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes).
