# Syntax error

 * Hi, looking forward to give this plugin a try. However, I get a nasty error after
   activating:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in XXXXXXXXXXXXX/wp-content/
   plugins/sportspress/functions.php on line 1676
 * I’ve tried a couple of themes (including 20/14) but that doesn’t make a difference.
 * Please advice,

 * Thank you for letting me know about this. The error was due to PHP 5.3 being 
   required for closures, which was used in the league table sorting function.
 * I’ve just released and update (version 0.2.2) which contains a fix for this. 
   Please let me know if the new version works for you 🙂

 * Hi ThemeBoy, thanks for the update. I just installed and activated 0.2.2 and 
   all seems fine.
