Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated

Hi,
I am using your cookie and content security policy plugin. It works quite well but there is one issue I cannot solve.

When I am using the WordPress Gutenberg “tool” -file- to embed a PDF File. The created link is working but the created pdf-view is suppressed.

In console I can see the error message: “Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience”

The warning is given by “jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:formatted:3890”. My idea is, that WordPress tries to load the pdf-view via ajax and your plugin is blocking this. I tried in different ways to allow these script like https://mydomain/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js
But all of my tries are not working. Now I really hope you can help me with this.

Can you give me an example of a page where it’s not working? If you don’t want to post here, send it to me in a mail.

The website is a german website. Let me give you a little introduction.

If you disallow functional cookies the embeded file-view will blocked with the message: “Please allow functional cookies”
If you allow now functional cookies the file-view will still get blocked with the message: “The content cannot be loaded, as long as it is blocked on this page. Kontact the admin.”

I could replicate the error and has now made a fix that will be included in the update (1.96) going out sometime this week. Thanks for making me aware of the bug!
