# Synchronize categories

 * I remember reading somewhere that Event Categories can be synched w/ post categories,
   but am having trouble finding this in the documentation. Anyone care to shed 
   some light on this? Thanks.

 * Hey Nowton. Thanks for the note here; if I understand what you’re going for correctly,
   you can integrate events into a regular post loop (on top of the category loops).

 * Similarly, if you wanted to straight up integrate with WP’s native categories/

 * hi Rob, the last link was what I was looking for. I have succesfully implemented
   this using the code below on that page, and altered our custom loop to use category
   as our taxo, instead of tribe-category. Thanks again.

 * Apparently this functionality was removed from version 3.x Can anyone confirm?
