    We are trying setup a sync for our client to sync their stock from Square to Woocommerce (so Square is the system of record).
    The problem we have is that we have very specific content (SEO friendly) in each product & product title. Obviously the plugin over-writes this but we want to know is there anyway to prevent this or disable it?
    We are happy to maintain our own version of the plugin internally (so when updates are pushed out we re-apply our own changes) but we just need to know where in the plugin we need to edit.

    Unfortunately our clients product base is HUGE so migrating all the content into Square just isn’t feasible for us.

    I understand you’re looking to add the ability to sync product stock only when Square is the system of record. At the moment, there’s no default option for that in the WooCommerce Square plugin, and customizing that would require a bit of additional coding. Custom coding goes beyond the scope of support we are able to provide in this forum.

    If many users express their intention to add this feature by default our developers may implement it in future versions of the plugin.

    Yes I understand the sync option is in the future requests – my question was where in the plugin (ie which class) controls the sync so we can code something ourselves. We have the skills in house to do this and to be honest cannot wait for the feature request as our client requires a solution ASAP.
