# Sync Priority

 * I have a few registered users on my wp site and lots more on MailChimp. If I 
   sync, what happens? Will my wp users just be added to my mc list and the mc users
   to my wp users?
 * Is there any overwriting?

 * It’s been stated in another thread that the syncing is only one way, so I believe
   that the WP users will sync with MailChimp, but not the other way around.

 * Hi James,
 * Newtonsongbird is correct. No WordPress users will be created or modified, only
   new MailChimp subscribers will be created.
 * On top of that, your existing MailChimp subscribers will NOT be deleted.
