If I’ve been building my website offline since the beginning and am about to upload it to my host, is there a way I can continue updating my WordPress site with my offline files and have them auto-sync to the online version?

You can try Duplicator plugin but you must do it manually.

On a Windows system, this can be done using Notepad++ with the NppFTP plugin.

Having said this, it is a bad idea to sync a dev/local site to a live site. You are much better off doing edits locally, verifying that the edits are what you want, and then uploading the those edits. In this way you can experiment locally without having the experiments go live. You also avoid the nightmare scenario of your edits breaking WordPress, which would result in a broken live site.

When you say, “and then upload those edits”, what file(s) would I be uploading exactly and replacing on the server?
