# Sync issues – several

 * Client is using the plugin. On the surface, quite nice. But can’t figure out 
   these problems and they are creating some challenges.
 * 1) Is there any way to have new listings on MLS autopublish upon synchronizing
   with the website? I can’t think of anyone who would want to login to WP, go to
   the listings area in the navigation, individually select each new property and
   then click “import listing” every day, several times per day.
 * 2) When properties are removed from the MLS service, the listings don’t seem 
   to go into draft. When I mean “removed” I mean listings are either marked as “
   sold” or “in contract” or one of those statuses, rentals are marked as “rented”–
   all statuses where an entry should be deleted or put into draft based upon the
   settings on the back end.
 * 3) When we change an MLS listing on the website to have an additional category,
   it changes back and I’m guessing at sync. For example, we sync a property into
   our listings. it is imported and done. Rather than just check, the sync will 
   change the listing in WordPress that was already imported and any custom work
   you’ve done on the website are gone.

 * At the moment the IMPress Listings plugin does not do this. The modification 
   of an imported listing havings its updates removed is an open issue for that 
   plugin. The IMPress for IDX Broker plugin does not import listings. I would watch
   the change log for IMPress Listings to see when these issues are addressed. [](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-listings/changelog/)

 * Got it – now I see what they do differently. I’ve just discovered that the issues
   we’re having relate to the output to the widgets and not the widgets themselves—
   which aparrently is what IMPress does (the feed from the MLS portion.) Thanks,
   will post on Listings.
