# Sync Issues

 * I am pretty sure this has been covered but could not find the resolve. I started
   with using Square as the SOR and discovered that child categories were being 
   overwritten during a sync. I have an online store and retail location and hoping
   to find a solution that will allow 600+ products between both avenues.
 * Currently, I switched WC to the SOR and created new products from Square. After
   they come over the first time I add the child categories. Doing a sync and not
   selecting the “Update existing products during import” the categories remain 
   intact but that’s not feasible with pricing changes and whatnot.
 * Is there a solution to just do the following?
 * Product / Multiple Categories / Option to sell online and retail?

 * This is expected since Square allows one category per product, so if your synced
   product has multiple categories and sub-categories in WooCommerce, only the first
   or parent category will be sent to Square. Similarly, if you perform a sync with
   Square as SOR, the category in WooCommerce will get overwritten with the single
   category that is present in Square.
 * Due to these restrictions, it isn’t currently possible to sync multiple categories/
   sub-categories with Square.
