    Hello,

I just installed your neat little plugin with hopes on implementing first and last names within the xprofiles.

I have about 160 members registered and I’m wondering if there’s a way to automatically push the they WP user Data to the new xprofiles — simply clicking update to the profile does not populate these fields… Is this something I would have to do manually with each one?

I also use ‘Import Users from CSV” which supports xprofiles, if importing using the WP user headers ‘first_name’ and ‘last_name’ will these also populate the new xprofile fields?

Also curious if I go ALL IN with this plugin, should it ever become discontinued, does this data get lost?

    Sorry for all questions! 🙂

    Dan

    Hi,
unfortunately this plugin is still in development. It could be pretty nice to implement a tool to sync existing profiles, maybe I will implement it.
Anyway I suppose that if you, as administrator, just click update on the backend user profile the profile should sync, but would be better to test it safely first on a staging website. 160 users are not so many, you should just press the update button 160 times.

If the plugin will become discontinued the synced profiles still work but if the buddypress or the wordpress team will decide to modify some used filter or action the users could not synce data anymore but I think either options would be remote.
