# Sync: Category Post Lock/Automatic Tier-Based Lock

 * Hi, I was wondering about the sync option that is now available.
 * **Is there a way to have a category be automatically locked? **
    As in, if I 
   sync Patreon Posts with WP, can it be automatically locked depending on the category
   it’s been synced to? I want it to only be accessible by Patrons without manually
   going to WordPress after posting on Patreon.
 * **And can it also take into consideration the tier preference available on Patreon?**
 * What I mean is- if I choose that the post is only available for certain tiers
   on Patreon, when it syncs to WordPress, is there a way that it will automatically
   do that for me?
 * Hopefully, I worded this well enough to be understood.

 * 1 – Category/tag locking is not in the free official (this) version, but it is
   available in Pro addon.
 * 2 – Since Patreon api does not return the tier level of a patron-only post, we
   currently cant have the synced post set to the relevant tier. But we can only
   make it patron only – as we do now.
