Please try to re-save the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Users have reported this issue seems to be cause by broken PDF files.

I’m sorry for not being too clear. What I mean is, re-save the original PDF and re-attach it to your CF7 form. Then, try filling it again. Make sure you DON’T have the flatten option selected.

Also, make sure you have the right font embedded in the PDF and used with the form fields. Additionally, make sure your PDF file is not encrypted.

yes i re-saved it the way you said.. and checked the font and the encryption…

when the flatten option is Unselected the Arabic show up but not correctly, it became separated letters.
is there anyway to make the Arabic appear with the flatten option as i need it flattened?

What do you mean by ‘became separated letters?’ I tested it with my PDF and it seems to work fine. Can you send me your PDF file to my email (admin at maximum dot software)?

Unfortunately, the UTF-8 flatten bug is a known issue with PDFtk. It remains unsolved. I have plans to switch to another tool, however, I don’t have an ETA.

I was able to reproduce the bug. It is unclear what the bug is. The data appears fine in the PDF form but not when it’s rendered on some viewers. I am still working on figuring out the problem. I’ll post an update as soon as I find something concrete.

    okay thank you

As far as I can tell, these are rendering bugs in various PDF viewers. Adobe Acrobat Reader and Foxit Reader displays your PDF without any issues. I tried filling forms using other software and other PDF documents and I am having the same basic issue. Unfortunately, there is little I can do to fix this. If someone knows what the problem is exactly, let me know.
