Symbols export as code to Google Calendar
-
I love MEC! I’ve used at least 10 other calendar plug-ins over the years and I’m sticking with MEC.
So, I have set up MEC to export to our Google Calendar. Everything seems to be working great! Except that hyphens (but only hyphens that are padded with spaces) are exporting to Google Calendar as “–” and single quotes are exporting as “’”. It happened with the classic editor as well as the block editor. I have checked the html code and retyped the hyphen in the html editor to make sure nothing was wonky (the document was originally copied from a Google Doc).
