@ symbol missing from Twitter handle

    • Running version 5.2.1
    • Inserting share buttons above and below content
    • Twitter handle added through the advanced plugin options.

    I’ve added my Twitter handle added through the advanced options on the WordPress admin. However, on multiple iOS devices running iOS 9.2.1 I’ve noticed that the Twitter @ symbol is removed from the tweet?

    Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
