    Hello,

I used the ‘Sydney:contact info’-widget in the footer of this site:
    http://www.webkust.be/portello/

    For spam-protecting I want encoding the email-adress.

    Normally I installed this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-address-encoder/

Or if possible I do it manually.

Is there a way integrating a small code-snippet for encoding the email-adress in the widget?

Or maybe adding this option in a next update?

    PS: Awesome theme 😉

    Regards,
    Christophe

    Hey,

You could do it without the plugin if you open up contact-info.php and convert line 103 to this:

    echo '<span><i class="fa fa-envelope"></i></span>' . '<a href="mailto:' . antispambot($email) . '">' . antispambot($email) . '</a>';

This change won’t be update-proof, but I made a note to add this to the next theme version so it doesn’t really matter.

    Hi vladff,

    Thanks for the solution.
    I try it tomorrow.

Nice that you added to a next update.
    Awesome service. Thumbs up; -)

    Grtz,
    Christophe
