  • Hello,
    I’m using the Sydney FP CTA widget and I would like to have a popup on click to 1. a YouTube video and 2. an iframe. Is this possible?
    Kind regards, Lorre

  • Hello there,

    In the page editor, edit the respective CTA widget. Then add a custom class name to Widget Styles > Attributes > Widget Class. For example: has-popup-link. Update you page. Then go to plugins administration; then install and activate Simple Popup and TC Custom JavaScript. Afterwards, go To Appearance > Custom JavaScript; add this code to the box provided:

    (function($){

      if( $('.has-popup-link .roll-button').length ) {
        $('.has-popup-link .roll-button').attr('onclick', 'return popitup(this.href, 600, 600)');
      }

    })(jQuery);

    Dear Kharis,

    It worked! Thank you so much! 2 more questions about it:

    1. What if I wanted to use another popup plugin, like Easy FancyBox?
    – For the iframe I would like to hide the address bar and have a nicer close button.
    – For the YouTube video, I would like to only show the video itself (even without the title or reference video’s in the frame)

    2. How do I make the popup responsive? I would like the popup to ‘float’ on mobile and tablet just like it does on desktop. So without opening another window.

    Would this be possible as well?

    Kind regards, Lorre

    Hello there,

    That’s really to complex task to do. Your best bet is hire a WordPress coder by posting a job at jobs.wordpress.net.
