Hi,

so far i have been using TinyPNG, however i wish to switch to Shortpixel due to the webp support and due to saving the original picture.

How should i proceed, considering that the images on the website have already been optimized by TinyPNG and the originals have not been saved?

If i select a lossless compression will it still create webp versions of the past images?

Are there specifics steps i should take to make the transition between those two plugins?

Hi @bookfinder – thank you for your message, I’m happy to hear you want to start using ShortPixel! 🙂

Your idea with using lossless compression and run Bulk ShortPixel should work just fine, the WebP version of the past images should be created on the fly.
That should be all, we don’t have any other specific steps in mind for making the transition. Except for deactivating the previous image optimization plugin, of course!
