# Switching Themes Without Breaking Current Theme

 * Hey guys, I’m hoping this is possible.
 * I’m planning on switching the theme of my WordPress website. The setup of the
   theme I like is kind of complicated and I know it’s going to take me some time
   from installation to final product.
 * That being said, is there a plugin that will allow me to keep my current theme
   active until my new theme is all set up and done?

   But I’m not positive so I figured I’d ask here.

 * Thanks Esmi. I saw that one…but does it let me set up the new theme completely,
   and then when I’m done, make the new theme active?

 * As far as I am aware, yes.

 * You have to activate the new theme in the normal manner.
