  • Nope. Everything stays the same except the look of the site.

You don’t necessarily lose content, however depending on your theme, all your content may not be displayed.

For instance, if you had a theme that did not display pages but only displayed blog entries, then your pages still remain in the database, but they will not be displayed.

So, what would be displayed would be dependent on your theme of choice.

Possibly could work with 2.2. Just install it and see if you like it. If not change to another theme.

I have had the following problems with this theme in the past. It gets to the point where I can no longer get to my dashboard. Instead, I get a white page with the following WARNINGS:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/basebal9/public_html/wp-content/themes/beautiful-sunrise-10/functions.php:72) in /home/basebal9/public_html/wp-login.php on line 12

Can I get around this issue & use this theme? If so, please explain how & where. Thank you.

You have a blanks space/line after the closing
    ?>
in the function.php of the theme…

    (@basebal9)

That’s all it is. I just have to delete those blanks in order to get the theme to work with WP version 2.2.2?

Don’t post back before you try it … 🙂

    Moshu,

Please tell me what lines so that I can fix it.

I opened this up in dreamweaver, but I didn’t see any blanks space/line after the closing
    ?>
in the function.php of the theme…

    Where are they?

    Anyone,

Please tell me what line(s) need to be fixed so that I can fix it/them.

I opened this up in dreamweaver, but I didn’t see any blanks space/line after the closing
    ?>
in the function.php of the theme…

    Where are they?

When you say DW are you using it in “code mod”? Otherwise it will always screw up your files…

    (@basebal9)

I just opened the finction.php file that I had downloaded & it automatically opened in DW (in a split screen). Should I open it with something else in order to make these changes?

    Notepad?

    Thread Starter basebal9

    (@basebal9)

I’ll try that tonight, I don’t have access to these files from my work computer.

Moshu, not to be difficult, but I still do not see any blanks/lines after the closing ?> in the function.php file

Where are these blanks/lines? Is it after every ?> or just a few of them? In HTML blanks do not matter, they matter that much in php? Can you show me an example of what you are talking about?
