switching off the "read more" default function

Hi,

I am using the Travelify theme and wonder how I could switch off the “read more” function for all posts which is active per default.
When searching for a solution I found solutions but at it seems they cannot be applied for this theme.
It had been advised to substitute ‘the_excerpt()’ by ‘the_content()’ in the appropriate template. I did not find ‘excerpt’ in any template.

Then I did ask in a German wordpress forum and was told to find out for a solution from the theme’s author.
Now I am here, hoping that somebody will be able to help.
