# Switching From WordPress.com to WordPress.org

 * Hi There,
 * When I first started using wordpress, I started with .com. Since then, I’ve created
   a wordpress.org account and I’m self-hosting with bluehost. The domain registered
   to both is the same, as I first registered with wordpress.com. However, wordpress.
   com seems to have a monopoly on my account and whenever I attempt to work on 
   it, it stays with the .com layout.
 * I’ve been through every known youtube video trying to rectify this.
 * Help!

 * You can’t resolve a domain name to two different sites. You need to work with
   your host/domain provider to point it to the site you want. Or get a second domain
   for the second one.

 * You can either point the nameservers or the ip to your bluehost account. That
   will help it resolve so when you make a change at Bluehost it will reflect on
   the website.
